We were looking forward to Joe and Rebecca’s Renaissance Pittsburgh wedding since their fall engagement session! We started the gorgeous summer day at the Renaissance Hotel, one of Pittsburgh’s most beautiful historic buildings. The light-filled getting ready room provided a perfect setting for morning photos. Rebecca had given her bridesmaids adorable turquoise and pink robes to wear as they got their hair and makeup done. They were the sweetest bridal party to work with and we had so much fun with them the entire day. The Renaissance offers some incredible architecture to play with for wedding dress shots and we enjoyed making the most of it! Rebecca and Joe did an incredible job planning every detail of their wedding. Rebecca’s gorgeous gown was the perfect compliment to the elegance of her day, while her Badgley Mischka ballet flats, pearl earrings and her grandmother’s necklace completed her look. The Blue Daisy knocked it out of the park with these flowers. We could not get over it. Succulents in the bouquet? YES PLEASE!
From there we headed to St. Therese Lisieux Church in Munhall where Joe and Rebecca said their vows in a beautiful service. After the ceremony, we took some portraits outside of the church then headed back to the Renaissance for more photos inside the lobby of the hotel and on the grand staircase. That staircase – WOW. There is a reason it is iconic in Pittsburgh!
The reception space was full of light and city views. Joe and Rebecca celebrated the rest of the night with friends and family while the Pittsburgh DJ Company kept the party hopping! Thanks again for giving us the chance to be a part of your special day. Congratulations Joe and Rebecca!
